Tampanensis (Truffle Producer)

90mm colonized agar plate. This is an isolate of Psilocybe Tampanensis, a rare mushroom in the Hymenogastraceae family. Produces truffle-like sclerotia also known as "philosophers stones". It was originally located in a sandy meadow near Tampa, Florida, and not found again until about 44 years later. FOR RESEARCH AND MICROSCOPY PURPOSES ONLY.
